Sorry I didn't know it was compulsory?
I don't go out of my way to get others involved, I might get labelled a bad influence if I did!
Bought my 5 year old boy a QR50 for his birthday though

Nothing! Everybody who is not a biker is intent on telling me how dangerous it is!

The only ones open-minded are the big islander guys at the petrol station filling up their 7-seater people-movers asking me how much petrol I use/dollars I save using the motorbike...

My mates are all too pussy to ride a bike, no matter how much I try to convince them.

To be honest, I'm sick of all the jibes about the danger involved. I wear full armoured leathers, boots, gloves, helmet etc how much more protected can I be compared to a lycra clad goober on a bike, capable of 60+!

Ah but they have a helmet and sunglasses, their heads and eyes are well protected!

I wonder if someone will invent air-bag lycras for the cyclists? "Is that a CO2 cartridge in your pants or are you happy to see me?"

Agreed. I never recruit anyone to the darkside, even when they say they thinking about getting into it I dont encourage it.

All my mates want bikes because of how masculine they make my handbag look.

I find that when I hang my handbag from the handlebars it gets in the way when I try to look my self in the mirror while I am riding.
So I was considering fitting a bigger mirror in the middle over those clock looking things.

What a catastrophe! I had a problem with my low bars and reaching my handbag to get my nail polish.
