what I can't figure out is obviously someone mid pack lost sight of the front grp ( even though we only travelled 5 mtrs & turned ) & decided to carry on through Pirongia & beyond as the newly nominated leader of the grp & then lost TEC if this person had of pulled over & waited we all would have caught up seeing as we turned around.... funny part was Milan,Nigel, myself & others cut through Te kawa rd to get onto Pokuru rd to meet up with the lost riders when bugger me here comes Murray,Trina & Jim with the middle of the grp christ knows where
I Used to jog but the ice cubes kept falling out of my glass

Confuses me to? you would think that the said rider or riders would have thought "wheres the bikes in front that just left??" I mean Pirongia is a long main street and bikes don't just disappear.

Or maybe they were just toooo laxed out and were riding with eyes closed???

Made for an interesting ride anyway and hope the guys (and girl) that went home back over the hill enjoyed the ride.

It is funny in a comical way you have to admit. Said rider I bet has figured out a few things and even had the responsibility of leading the pack which not many get to do due to the "I might hold up people".

After a round is shouted by all those directly and not directly involved we can move on

The more I think about it, the more I actually find it bloody funny...

"Shit, those 5 riders in front must have taken off doing 200km/h. Either that, or there were beamed up by Clingon's. Yeah that'll be it. It is now my duty to make sure the group get to the destination without further loses. God I hope I don't get beamed up. I don't have my good underwear on"

    Sunday poootle

Jeez the weeknds looking good again

Saturday 14 Fine spells. Northerlies developing.
    Sunday 15 Cloudy periods. Northerlies

I thought we could leave the carpark - go past reception, at the road TURN RIGHT go to the set of lights TURN LEFT WHEN ARROW POINTING LEFT GOES GREEN. Ride down Te Rapa straight heading North. Go through set of lights with Bunnings on your right. At the race course entrance (ON YOUR LEFT) TURN RIGHT ( where theres a big waikato can on a pole) and stop there for a quiet bevie and something to eat.

Anyone think they can follow the route or keen. Milan will lead and I will tail end charlie so no-one gets lost.

Will discuss possibilities of a wee sunday ride at clubrooms tomorrow. I think this time of year 200kms max is about right

I read that this mourning. I thought it was funny how the wangana (sp?) said being associated with a bar wasn't appropriate. Obviously they're not a real university. This is one of the rules.

What time do you guys and gals have your feed at the club? il have to come join you sometime, be interesting to finally see where my grandfather used to drink religiously.
ETA on the bike is 3 to 5 weeks plus a weekend or 2 for me and my mate to change the head bearing. Sucks being of the road.

generally from about 5.00ish to about 7.30ish
new bar being worked on now and will not be far from the current bar. Be interesting as owner wants to keep regular patrons so assume it will still have all the TV's(including in the toilet), a sporting theme and same sort of promotions etc

He's come to realise that it's a sports bar and nothing else. All you have to do is look at how many people frequent the place. If there was hardly anyone going there, then yeah, change it up. But it's plain stupidity to change something that's working so well.

Muzza can confirm this but by the sound of it, I got the impression he was building a new one. That or significantly redoing another place. It's in the old "Payless" building down the road. Plenty of car parking and space
