Also Dovi isn't that popular with most of the crowd. It was all Rossi (and last year) Simoncelli...
Yeah everyone was wearing a 46 shirt, however they were all cheering for Dovi. Specially when he jumped onto the podium. I guess that with the current relatively bare patch of fast italian riders (in pretty much all classes actually) they will take what they get. But any Italian I talked to always said Rossi was their favourite.

Fantastic race by Lorenzo, as for the boring comments i would remind people this is a championship, with different bike types that suit different tracks...but it is all about the championship.....for example ..stoner crashing when coming second was only interesting because of the points situation...same yesterday....it's a long season so who knows what will happen...Honda new bike...Ducati new bike / frame....Yamaha engine # issues...Dovi fighting for factory ride....it is exciting not because every race is so close anyone could win...it is exciting because it is so damn hard to be consistent over the season....IMO...........almost no one remembers a close race but we know who won the championship last year....

Crutchlow is leaving T3 because his seat has been promised to Bradley Smith.

Hey I've got a few of them !

I'll wear my million dollar polo shirt next time I come into the shop.
Wife doesn't like it, says I look like 'big bird' in it.

Very surprised at the reduction in crowd numbers, but hey if Rossi get's the Duc how he wants it or rides something else that wins I'm sure they'll flock back ?
    I don't know,150euro doesn't seem that much for the 3 days.
Though it is expensive when compared to any other GP.

Not his seat, a seat. Tech 3 hadn't said who was staying or going.

For the first few races it looked like he was going to be the one Tech 3 would prefer to retain, but Dovi has 4 podiums out of 5 races now and he looks like he's still building steam.

Thing is that Dovi wants a factory ride as well. The word is that Yamaha will resign Spies (probably because the Spanish and American markets are so important to them so they've got it covered with Lorenzo and Spies) so Herve might have to do some negotiating with Yamaha to get full factory bikes and support, the same sort of arrangement Gresini have with Honda for Bautista's bike (originally setup for Simoncelli).

I really do think Dovi is the best chance Tech 3 have had for a top 3 season for a while, although probably not this season unless Stoner has another non-finish.

Gotta hand it to the Spanish media — they certainly know how to drive the rumour mill...
(Google Translate will give you the general gist.)

Or I could just post the gist here: Apparently, Marlboro want a factory Yamaha M1 for Rossi in exchange for sponsorship.

The Spanish rumour mill has gotten a couple of things correct lately. But mostly they get it all wrong.

there was also the Coco Cola sponsored Yamaha for Rossi as well... (Hmmm memories of Schwantz and Pepsi Suzuki...)

With Hayden having a dash for a podium it was a reminder that we NEED Ducati. For the series to have significance - there needs to be more than just two manufacturers.................

CRT doesn't look like doing it either.
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

Hardly any (if any). That's why they're more often than not just red bikes with white stripes.
