Did that sound sarcastic? It did in my head, but weird things go on inside there.

Only problem is that you'll have to remember backwards, given that that was from the Opotiki end...

    GPS Help!

Thanks very much for GPS routes. However I am having a little trouble with them. Any help would be appreciated.

I have downloaded the most recent NZ Open GPS Project maps to my PC and Garmin Oregon unit.

The routes are all showing correctly on mapsource on my pc.

I have then sent the routes I want (e.g sat am no fuel) to the Oregon.

The problem comes when I view the route on the unit: for example 'sat am no fuel':

    - Instead of the route taking me left at Ohuka Rd as it should, I'm being taken all the way to Frasertown, then left to Te Reinga, where it then shows the route as a fork: left to the Erepeti rd waypoint (as a there and back) and also right to Tiniroto (not as shown on mapsource).

I guess the problem is in how my routing is set-up? I have it set to on-road guidance (it won't work for off-road guidance as there are too few waypoints). It routes the same whether it is set to 'on road for time' or 'on road for distance'.

This 'forked' routing also appears on the sat pm routes too on my unit (so presumably it's not due to the Ohuka slip thing).

Is this happening to anyone else?

is the downloaded map activated on your gps? I had to enable it on my zumo to get it to work.

Might of talked hangman (jimbo) and his 9fiddy into tagging along for satdee ride.

In two minds whether to put the new MT21 on the front for this ride or leave the E07 on? The E07 would still pass a wof but is way past its best (which wasn't that great to begin with), is anyone else riding with an oldish front tire?
