Lots of people in Christchurch would probably wish they were better prepared... no better time to fill those water bottles etc if you're up that way guys...

That news article has terrified the shit out of me.
Did you realise something could happen or not much could take place or nothing could happen after all?
I reckon this reporter will be right on the money.

Hopefully Edgecombe will be removed from the map when it (Te Mountain) and White Island blows up...

I hope this does not turn into a Darwin episode. Last few times we had a Tsunami warning up here lots of people rushed to the beach to see it........

Boom shake shake shake the room... I hope both White Island and Tongariro blow themselves to pieces causing HUGE damage to property and infrastructure and that by some miracle no one is injured... it could finally get the inevitable ball rolling.
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!

Yes that would be a side effect... and if done properly one that wouldn't be missed in the slightest.

Sheesh. After all the action in CH CH, our apartment building couldn't get insurance from any single NZ based insurance company. We used to pay $700.00 a year for building insurance. Now we're with Lloyds of London and it's $5000.00!
