Wot????? You mean you let go of your blankie long enough to go for a ride Nice one Blair!!

It will be good to see everyone when the WNR starts again.

Just have to convince Jim Hickey to give us some good weather.
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!

They are no different to many many other group rides that happen in the Canterbury region every week.
Each rider is responsible for his own behavior,
Rossi types are politely asked to ride away.
Its not a race, and an effort is made to comply with the laws as much as practicable . But we are all individuals in the end .

whats with all the hate on the rossi types.?? come on we aint that bad.. im a nice guy once ya get to know me..

I think we all have a story about a guy, while on a group ride, feels like he shouldn't be stuck at the back and begins to carve through people as we go up a hill, only to crash because he's taken a corner too fast on a bald set of tyres.

Just ruins a ride for everybody.

We aren't saying your a bad guy, we just don't like your riding

Ride as fast as you like, respect the fact that slower riders are about and don't scare the crap out of them, and everyone will be fine

I agree with Dave- and the others.

If you choose to ride with us show some respect for the other riders in the group. However from the tone of your previous posts, on this and other threads, I doubt this will happen.

It is possible for two groups to co-exist. Those who are there for a faster ride leave first..those that are there for a social pootle leave second. I would enjoy riding with RR and OAB a little quicker-thats my style and I would have more in common with them, so the chance for a ride and catch up on wed night is as valid for us as it is for the social riders. I think making WNR something that excludes those who ride faster is a bit sad. I also means if you have new people come who dont fit your slower riding criteria, rather than telling them where to go, you can ask them to ride with the faster group.

Yeah of course they can. FWIW I've ridden with OAB, and generally he just follows the speed limit... but doesn't slow down for corners (not even a little bit, in fact he generally speeds up for them)

Me? I ride a fast bike really slowly cause I'm a pussy and I just like bikes
