Funny, I told him not two hours ago he was taking it a bit serious.

Hahahah traction control! It might help him if he runs off the track and is on wet grass, maybe. And the best quick shifter for buckets is a push button kill switch wired to the coil. Little bike's dont care about the time gap like the the big bikes so just have a fast finger.

This sounds like an interesting idea.

Damn. Don't think I'll be making it to this round. Money is too tight. Need to save money to get another race bike set up properly.

D'ya know, I hadn't considered the financial implications. What's it gonna run me to enter for the day?

How well can you hold on to your angles?
Yes 4 strokes are for homos. Homo-sapiens that is, who have realized bigger is better.

Just to be clear, if it's raining, I am not even putting the bike in the van.

It's no fun wobbling around in pissing down rain just waiting to fall off. At least, not for me.

Looks like I actually might be able to make it now. Turns out someone owes ME money. That's a change. I'd quite like to use my wets again, it's only been about a year since the last time I used them. They are pretty buggered but probably still okay enough.

    Naa, stay away man.
With Rich out, Adlam unlikely and Fish maybe not quite ready with a new weapon if you don't turn up I'm in with a tiny chance of a win.
    Oh, plus it can't rain!

What is the guestimated start of practise ?

I have a friend driving down from palmy in the morning, he hates early mornings more than I do.
