Taupo accommodation? (for MotoTT day)

Does anybody know of a good camping ground near Taupo Motorsports Park?

I’m trying to line up day with MotoTT on Fri 9-Nov or Sat 24-Nov with some mates.
I think it’d be a good idea to trailer down the day before, stay a night close by and get to the park fresh in the morning.

Also, I’ve never been before. Are Fridays less busy than Saturdays?... I assumed they were.

I've never had a problem with ANY top 10 camping ground ... ever.

We stayed at the All Seasons when we went down for the TT earlier in the year!

Very good and plently of space for a trailer - we had 3 bikes with us and a large Ute. Not too expensive and still only about 15mins to the track and a short distance from Town

Bradfords Lodge is good cheap accommodation in Taupo. Cater for most and are usually busy during motorsport events
