    Dealing with criminals in Florida

Polk County Florida Sheriff - "You kill a policeman it means no arrest...no Miranda rights...no negotiations...nothing but as many bullets as we can shoot into you...PERIOD."

POLK COUNTY FLORIDA SHERIFF, GRADY JUDD

An illegal alien, in Polk County , Florida , who got pulled over in a routine traffic stop, ended up "executing" the deputy who stopped him. The deputy was shot eight times, including once behind his right ear at close range. Another deputy was wounded and a police dog killed. A state-wide manhunt ensued.

The murderer was found hiding in a wooded area. As soon as he took a shot at the SWAT team, officers opened fire on him. They hit the guy 68 times.

Naturally, the liberal media went nuts and asked why they had to shoot the poor, undocumented immigrant 68 times.

Sheriff Grady Judd told the Orlando Sentinel: "Because that's all the ammunition we had.."
Now, is that just about the all-time greatest answer or what!

The Coroner also reported that the illegal alien died of natural causes. When asked by a reporter how that could be, since there were 68 bullet wounds in his body, he simply replied: (BEST QUOTE ever) . . .."When you are shot 68 times you are naturally gonna die."
"So if you meet me, have some sympathy, have some courtesy, have some taste ..."

They'd easily get away with it in an area full of pissed off, white trash redneck conservatives.

Ran out of ammo is an old quote. Apparently the SAS had the same remark for a terrorist shot in Gibraltar quite a few years ago.

Just think of all the NZ cops who just wish they could just once in their life wheel that gem out in court.

Our cops are such useless shots that they might get one round into an offender out of 68 fired ...

Sorry, are you implying the US cops are any better? Remember the shooting in New York lately where they killed one criminal and wounded nine bystanders?

Hell, you almost make that sound unacceptable...

I suppose you expect them to be as frugal with the petrol in their cars...

NEW Zealand police fired their guns 12 times at a snarling rottweiler during a domestic dispute but missed every time
Asked why police fired so many shots at the dog, Insp Spence said shooting at moving things in real life was different to shooting at targets at the range. <-- wow Really?

Naa ... whether you are frugal with petrol or not as minimal impact on the rest of us ...

But just ask Halatau Naitoko's family how inmportant it is for police to be able to hit what they shoot at ... (How far away from the ofender was the cop when he missed adn hit Naitoko? I believe he was on the back of a truck and shooting through the back window at the driver?)

I'm not implying that at all ... US cops are good arguments for NOT arming the police ... I'm suggesting that IF our popos do have guns, then they must be able to shoot a fuck of a lot better than the majority of them can at present ...

There's the couple of examples cited .. and (awhile ago now, admittedly) a cop in Napier with a hand gun missed a German Shepherd leaping across the bonnet of a car (dog can't have been more than nine feet from the cop). The bullet hit a driveway and slammed through a house to hit a wall just above a couch where a baby was sleeping ... Fuck me ...

Would it have been preferable to let a dangerous offender escape? There's always a fine balance in law enforcement between apprehending the offender and minimizing danger to the public in doing so. Often the danger to the public can't be minimized without the offender being in custody, so they have to do something. Maybe more regular and intensive firearms training is in order then. I say give the cops .22LR pistols to practice with because at least the ammo is dirt cheap compared to centrefire rounds.

And let the criminal continue their crime spree for the next few weeks or months until they're caught, dramatically increasing the amount of police man hours involved and exponentially increasing the number of potential victims? I think we have a winning solution here for the PC greenies.

How would you like to have a dangerous offender who may be a rapist or murderer roaming around your hood while your kids are out playing, all because some left wing bullshit prevented the cops from apprehending the criminal? I bet if your kids were to then get molested or your house burgled by said person, you'd have a slightly different attitude.

Fuck .. you really have no clues at all ... I've never said don't shoot the fuckers ...

Shoot the fucker of course, but if you are going to shoot the fucker ... make sure you can shoot the fucker !!!

How would you like to have a dangerous armed police officer who can't hit what he aims at roaming around your hood while your kids are out playing ... well - you have them now

You think I'm some left wing liberal ??? You dumb shit ... I may be left wing ... But I also support the death penatly for serious offences .. . some people deserve a bullet in the head ... the two ideas (leftwing and support for the death penalty) are not mutually exclusive ...
