    Down a drain eh? Bugger.
I like how you can serve alcohol to people, but they're not allowed it when pissed. Bit silly to be fair

I had a bit of a barny with a guy I thought was a mate over this.

He is an advocate for an opposing strip club, and whinged that Mermaids should have received a stiffer (no pun intended) penalty.

He knew the muppet that took a dive headfirst down the drain too.

So me telling him the dead dude was a fuckin idiot wasn't well taken.

    Maybe I'm a tad abrasive...Naaaaaa, that couldn't be it.

Maybe they'll fix it the way they want to fix the people-walk-in-front-of-busses "issue", and put crowd fencing around all the drains etc.

(Having said that, a badly covered manhole is a real problem.)

Seems this happens regularly to you. Does there seem to be a common theme there Drew?

I'm not a fan of builder's crack either.

So the strip club is to blame for some silly fuck getting pissed and getting dead in a drain while attempting to go drive drunk, all choices he made, not the boob bar.
    Seems logical...

    Please elaborate then.

I feel worse for the people who frequent Mermaids, who couldn't go see their favourite titties the night it closed, than I do fo the fuckin idiot that fell down the drain.

No one saw him fall, which is why he lay in there for something like four days. How is there more than what the coroner determined to be a drunkin fall, trying to recover his car keys from a drain?

It's not for me to put into the public domain what isn't already there.

Gee like we all haven't done stupid stuff when we're drunk. No one said this chap was about to drive, could have been juggling his house keys to see he hadn't lost them, you can't make that step.
Either way unfortunate accident, & if he liked going to titty bars then that's who they are there for.
