Word is that Meanie & Monie are doing it Sunday and yod will do it sunday as well if its not raining other wise yod will do it Thrusday Labour weekend with Mel and I on our way to Gisborne

Yep, planning a birthday run. Heading to Whakataneish via East Cape on Friday, Houhora and then perhaps down to the Bay of Islands on Saturday, then home on Sunday. Not booking any accommodation - will just see how far I feel like riding each day.

My total route over both weekends is about 3,200km (5 days) if I take in all my diversions...

Quite damp out there, looks like I'm doing Rahotu on my way back home.

The rain started at Sanson but it was the building wind that made me wuss out - really getting up a bit in the exposed places. Turned back at Turakina, enjoyed the wet ride back through Marton & Halcombe.
