Main road ... 300 meters south of the pub. On the opposite side of the road.

It's the old school buildings.

on the main road D & the entrance is on the side road you can't miss it, mmmmmm then maybe as you are old you might

go via Haka, Danseys, Ranfurly then over Onslow past the lake comes out at Millers Flat then head down SHW 8 to Ettrick about 10k's

A lovely ride on your DR, could be a struggle on your speed tripple with road tyres unless it is very dry.

in the summer you could do it in a car if ya game no good for road bike, but could be done, if it rains makes life interesting but in general a good ride

I've done it in summer in a Hi-Ace van. But even in summer ... you can get the four seasons ...

Be on the DR650 for the trip , given up trying to do the tour thing on the triple , wants to be a hoon to much........and you miss the sights
