Escort Redline radar laser detector + hardwire kit

Listed for sale on Trade Me here.

Awesome detector, gives warning well in advance (over a minute away on fairly open road, several bends away in tighter stuff).
Unfortunately I didn't have it on the bike the last time I went for a ride...
    Reserve price is $700.

Includes a brand new hardwire kit with remote mute button (that I was going to put in the car), and a used hardwire kit (without remote mute) that I currently have fitted to the bike.
Both hardwires have a +ve connector that slips over a fuse blade, so you don't need to cut your wiring to connect it.

Will the $700 cover the fine?

Exceptionally good detection of speed cameras... or so I've heard.

Reading between the lines Fraser it seems like the seller is in a world of inconvenience through not having his marvelous device with him when travelling at an inappropriate speed...

Your V1 will certainly help you avoid this inconvenience IF you have it with you and switched on....I guess...

Ha you don't have to read between the lines Tom, he admits he didn't have it with him. Mine? Well that's always on, just so I know when you're around and we can catch up.

A few of your nitpicking colleagues are the reason I bought all this stuff in the first place and are the direct reason behind my decision to go fast enough to lose my licence. Not saying it was a good decision...
