    Change your passwords immediately and do not use the same passwords for too many things. Keep your banking password completely separate to the rest.

    Sometimes you will have people requesting to be friends. Set the yahoo chat options to only accept communication from those you know, and if someone wants to be a friend and you don't know them, then block them.

    Norton and scan will have no impact on what I advised, so do that most importantly. It may be overkill, but it's better to be safe... than sorry.

    correct.

    Also watch for any popup that has accept/decline buttons. The simple click of either button can be an invitation into your computer. It doesnt matter whether you have up to date anti virus, if you conciously click the button, the anti visrus will let it in and you are stuck with a logger, trojan or other malicious infestation...........
