1982- 14 years old and had a 3 speed Releigh treadly, and listened to The Human League
1992 - having spent my Bursery money (thank you taxpaers) on a B120 4 years before, I had finished Uni the year before, tried another degree when I couldn't get a job, hated it and dropped out when I got a job.I now had a GT250X7, and in that year, got a RZ350, which I fitted with a set of Ledar spannies from the UK. I later traded this for a GSXR750L, and have missed it a lot since. Around 92 or sometime after as I recall, I also started racing once I started getting a paypacket, with my mighty Impulse. Still got it for sentimental reasons.
Music was now Gary Moore, Led Zep and U2.

1982 Summed up, Madness on The Young Ones (I was 11 and riding a 5-speed Raleigh Arena):

1992 was a great year for music. Nirvana's "Nevermind", Pantera's "Vulgar Display of Power" and Faith No More's "Angel Dust".

Twenty years later, an apropriate title

Achievement is not always success while reputed failure often is. It is honest endeavor, persistent effort to do the best possible under any and all circumstances.

Released late 1991...I went to a record signing at Volume Records in Newcastle just after I went back for the start of my last year at University.

At this time in 1982, I was living in the 'Tron, in a very crappy old rental house in Firth Street, had been married for 2 months, and was driving a 1974 Fiat 132 (I was between bikes).
In 1992, I was living in our first house in Pukete, had 3 kids, was getting the XBR500RS Mutant running, and was driving a Subaru Leone wagon.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

'92 did an OE, Contiki trip, got married in London, watched Hissie win the Senior TT on trumph rotary..... Great times.......

In 1982 I was still in nappies.

And I think 1992 might've been the year that I independently invented wanking.

... not a lot else has happened since.

Hmmm, a few more KBers could do with the same honesty...
