    Funny after all the drama it tuners out that the left side case has been machined to take a cheap off the shelf 6204. So it can be done but not much meat left at all. Strange coz the bottom end was of a commuter that had run out of oil. Maybe a factory cock up and fix. Anyway with the shaft back in she is much smoother. Will be interesting to see how much hp it has lost, if any.

    on a 600 4 they gained 3 hp by removing them but no idea on 150 maybe 1 hp who knows

    Just bore it an extra 20cc to 200 to make up for the power loss.

    If only. But if it was a 250 it would be making over 40hp with the same level of tuning. Now that would be fun.

    Well sort of, valve size might limit it quite a bit.
