Totally agree, better to save the pennies and invest in good shit then dump money on crap that doesn't last (works with everything in life).

Plus its pretty awesome being able to adapt and tune your self at every track you go to!
Hahaha so that's why my Michy Pure's have lasted longer that people can get off there "road spec" tyres That's a good point though. I have noticed my tyre wear is heaps less. Been breaking in my mum's new bike and wifey said to me she thought I would have used more of the tyres. I would off back in the day

Yep I have to agree - I mentioned to Steve Brouggy we should approach Casey Stoner.....how awesome would that be!

I do know the coach tryout/sellection process - however im not sure exactly how it will work with our new setup (the aussie school running the show for us here in NZ) Technically the coaches that live in NZ are now "Australasian" coaches, so you would go through the try out for a possition as an Australasian coach, meaning the sellection/try out would be by made by the Aussie Schools Cheif ride coach and his team.

I can do some research for you thou and contact you vai email if you like?

I tell ya its a great feeling giving the learn to the instructor - especially when on an SV650 and they are on a GSXR1000.

Yep there are times when the coach can't keep up, lucky we have some coaches that are on the quicker side of things, then we just start taking brake levers off ya.......well we wish we could:-)

This issue has been raised by us coaches before particulary as more racers come along with racebike on Slicks.....Rest assured if the coach can't stay behind you, we have ways of jumping infront of you for a quick instruction.

FYI to those that haven't been the ratio that is typical at the schools is 80% road riders 20% track dayers/racers.

I think i paid $499 a day for level 1 & 2 and learnt how to not only ride a bike but properly.
Seems cheap to me but i do get what you mean.

Glad to here they are back so I can finish the other levels off.

Well you raise a good point - if another track layout suits coaching more, then we will look at it. We tried the extension at Eastern Creek when it was released, and it made coaching far harder, and students didn't gain anything from it, it just created a choke point that slowed everyone down.

    We'll see how it goes.

PS we are taking bookings now, if your keen on Level 3 and 4 let us know!!

How and where do we book? Perhaps the booking details could be put in the first post?

Maybe track five without the extra chicane in the back straight (would be my fav track) would allow quicker times?
