Bloody hell Dangerous , your getting alot of people confused.

The general view from get together at taitapu few weekends ago, was meet at yaldhurst tavern carpark and go via scenic inland route . Stick with well known roads . darfield- glentunnel - methven- mayfield ending at geraldine for lunch then on to rally site early afternoon.
That still is the basic plan. From a chat with folks today .10AM is the departure time , turn up about 15min beforehand fuelled and ready to go.
cruisey ride , quite afew 250cc bikes and "new"ish riders, trailbikes and of course big bikes. there will be a tailend charlie , and about 2 stops mid route.
no doubt we'll run into others along the way and at lunch in Geraldine .That still gets us there for lunch around mid day. There is no road captain or other shite, just group of friends doing the normal rally thing , See there is few posts by newbies , your welcome to join in , anyways a fun weekend .

A small tent from the warehouse is probably cheaper than a quart of whiskey, Im sure there are a couple of other single girls who might be encouraged to share, a sleeping bag is probably more important.

If you get stuck I have a tent you can borrow.
I'm not arguing, I'm just explaining why I'm right.

Got the sleeping bag. Wasn't actually thinking of alcohol as the price of a bed. But then my bike pants are so bloody tight and hard to get off that nothing else likely anyway. haha.

Earplugs are another essential for bike rallies, as there are some hum dinger snorers that attend

Hey, thanks, didn't think of them. Any other essentials other than the obvious? (Bike, bag (sleeping) and booze)
