Hang on a minute Spyda, let me get this right.
So, you're now saying that I did have a worsening mechanical fault with my machine, but a few weeks ago you said I was just making excuses for not winning??? So which is it?? Whichever bullshit excuse suits your purpose the best I guess - am I right?!
Maybe I was just pretending to have a mechanical failure so I could use that as an excuse for not beating Adam?? Stands to your reasoning.

Maybe all sidecars should park up whenever they have a mechanical fault? That would see about a 1/4 of the field disappear.....

Maybe people who brake too early for a corner should be made to pack up and go home for endangering other teams behind them?
Maybe people who change their lines whilst braking should be made to pack up and go home for endangering other teams behind them?
Maybe those who start too early.......
    Maybe those who miss gears....
Maybe those who's visors fog up.....
Maybe those who run slicks in the wet....
Maybe those whos passengers are not up to standard.....
Maybe those who have the wrong trail/castor angles set up....
Maybe those whos have faulty riding gear....
Maybe those that have a deflating tyre....
Maybe those that don't heed the flag signals.....

But wait Spyda, what about when marshalls/stewards fuck up too??? Should we black flag them for making bad judgement calls too?
Is it still beastiality if ya fuck a frozen chicken??

Whats up with you dude? You have hardly been fostering sidecar racing lately. In fact id go as far as to say that you seem to have a major chip on your shoulder, & I cant explain it.
You are amongst like minded individuals with a passion for the sport & I am at a loss to understand your negativity.
I would ordinarily have rated you as one of my friends, but Im not entirely sure what to think now.
If anyone should have been black flagged, it should have been the team that stopped on the start line during the race, but clearly the organisers hadnt packed the black flag that weekend.

ee - I don't like where this is heading. chill out!

Back to Nationals.. whos coming, whos not? whos entering now?? Entries close next week Friday - IF WE DONT HAVE 10 ENTERED WE ARE OUT, and that will be 2nd time in a row so doubt we will have a 3rd chance to get a class together. I'm putting my entry in next Tuesday. I think we have 4 south island bikes, Macdonald father son combo, team agip, harris n co and the long windle. Dunno if pig n goober gonna actually do it. Annan wasn't sounding too excited about it all.. think he might go fishing instead
So we are struggling as usual and would need 5 or 6 bikes from north.. 5 if pig n goober put an entry in.

We can help with storeage of bikes down in chch, we can provide workshops to work in, got lathes, drill presses, hand tools, welders, compressors. I'm happy to taxi ppl to and from airport etc etc anything to help.

We did good at BSTTC and Wangas entries look healthy. Nats is important.. so cheers for all of you who enter and keep the sport going cause I love it and I'm only just starting, I wanna be able to race sidecars for the next 20 years and get news teams into it build numbers etc.

Keep it together n keep it friendly

Firstly Nothings 'up with me', I have no chip on my shoulder I am however a little over Funeral food this year as I have lost three people on the race track that I considered Friends, at three meetings where I was Commentating.
You stated that this was a 'Genuine Racing Incident', I believe it was caused by a repeating mechanical fault.
I watched the Pirate pull up on the line and I was waiting for the impact, that was a ________ move, but what if Scrivy had missed a gear in the same spot with the LawrAnces right up your tail. sure the speed differentials in both situations would have been different but it still could've ended in tears so easily.
Sorry if you're offended, sorry if you question whether you still want to consider me as a friend but I've seen more than one person die on the track in avoidable circumstances and I don't want to see anymore if I can help it.

The black flag is for mechanical faults, not for disciplining people as I understand it BTW, there is a process for disciplinary matters at the track which I believe you followed regarding Pete the Pirate, I have no problem with him being hauled up for this and would support any measures in incidents such as this too.

I have considered you a friend, if somewhat distant, for many years & have enjoyed sporadically sharing space with you over the years, at racing, rallys & wherever else bikes have caused us to meet.
Excuse the Lawrance thing, as you may know, I have a couple of chums with the surname Lawre/ance, & sometimes mix them up a bit, the other one being Jay.
I noticed your comment the other day "do they still have racing up north" this after we had full grids in both classic & modern at Hampsters, during a sucessful Manfield meeting, & while we have well in excess of ample entries for Wanganui, & I felt that was a little off & un called for & that in part promted the "chip on shoulder" comment.
I respect your passion & knowledge for the history of all things motorcycle & look forward to having a beer with you p.m 26th Dec.
I too am tired of funeral food & consequently will be taking matters into my own hands, as I did last year, & informing the Cem Circ sidecar virgins of the hidden dangers that have claimed the lives of a few of my mates over the years.
Sidecar racing has been through a tough time in the last few years, we have survived & are becoming stronger & more united than we have been in a long time, long may it last.

I have seen people black flagged for pulling wheelstands during a race.

I think you south island bastards are just too fucken tight to shout anyway, I will die of dehydration before Kai shouts I reckon. Fucksakes Tracey had fallen off, done a cartwheel, threw a sidecar off its rider back onto its wheels, rode back to the pits, and had a tray of piss delivered all in 15mins.

Team Agip are that tight I reckon they must be making homebrew, and homebrew doesnt even take this long, unless they are growing the hops?
