Not if your Israel. In their case, their neighbours attack them (3 vs 1 in the case of Israel vs Jordan, Egypt, Syria in 1967 - all three who were defeated in 6 days none-the-less) hoping to wipe them out, instead get beaten and driven back and then they are expected to return the captured land. Fair?? I really don't think so either!

Yeah...that went out of the window once, just after signing the agreement, Israels retard neighbours decided to declare war on them with the intention of destroying them...their neighbours kind of got their arses handed to them and Israel got to claim more land. Ironic much? I think so.

That's True . the Jews have been occupying that land since their God gave it to them

Genesis 15:18-21 the boundary of the promised land is clarified in terms of the territory of various ancient peoples, as follows: On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram and said, "To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates - the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites, Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites."

Well - guess what happened to all those people? And the Jews have had to use force to keep the land ever since ...

And we think the problem is the Palestinians? The problem is the violent terrorist state of Israel ..

Conveniently ignoring the fact that genetically, the vast majority of "Palestinian" Muslims and "Israeli" Jews come from the same pool. The distinction is cultural and religious, not racial.

I don't get how the Muslims get to claim the Jews stole their land, when they're nearly all decended from Jews and Christians who converted to Islam.

The problem is that the Jews did not follow their Lord's commandment and instead left some of the previous occupiers alive.

No-one ignores that .. The Jews claim descent from Abraham via his wife Sarai ... who had a son called Isaac and Islamic people from Abraham via his Handmaiden Hagar .. who gave birth to Ishmael.

Islam is certainly a newer religion than Judaism (the oldest of the three) and Christianity ... but the Arabs were neither Jewish nor Christian .. they had their own religions until they all became Moslems after Mohammed's revelations - (some were forced to adopt Islam) but some Arab groups are still not Moslem - they maintain their own tribal religions ...

But it was Palestinian land until 1948 when the Brits pulled out - leaving the jewish settlements surrounded by the Arab states ... then the Jews established their own state by force of arms ..

Not quite correct, it was a bit more complex than that.

Out of interest how does the Iron Dome(s) stack up against the ol' fashion patriots an C-wizzes? I imagine better - but I am so out of the loop on that stuff these days.

    Comparing apples and oranges there.
IRBM threat or anti-aircraft = Patriot. Even more modern is the new THAAD systems to get to those "hard to reach" places.

Short range missiles are the food for ID however. There was also an earlier protection system (prior to ID) which used Phalanx systems running new software and these were even effective against mortar shells fired over the wall. I would not be surprised if these were still in use as well.

There does seem to be a shortage of the ID missiles now. The manufacturer of the Tamir missiles is working around the clock to keep up the supply and replenish stocks.

Yeah maybe ... most of that was the posturing and hot air before Britain pulled out .. leaving the Jews at the apparent mercy of the surrounding Arab states .. and while Truman made nice noises he did fuck all ...

The result was the Jews kicked the shit out of their Arab neighbours - and have needed to maintain their state through violence ever since ..
