Question New rider looking for bike (jallan)

    Hay there all,
Im in the process of getting my learners (done the basic handling, doing theory test in a few days), and im looking to buy a bike but not having much luck finding one yet.
If any one in or near the waikato (im in cambridge) has a 250 for sale let me know.
Im tall, (6' 2"), so a Gn250 or Scorpio aint gana cut it (did part of the basic handling training on a gn250.....with knees in ears ), so im after a bandit or spada, or hornet, or even a .............Hyosung if the price is right. Looking to pay 2500$ - 3$ depending on the bike.

Oh, and Thanks for the entertaining reading. Been stalking the forums for a month or so, and I promise not to talk about
powerbands and want a GSXR the day after I get my full.......for the first few posts atleast...

Mate have a look at the 650 adventure bikes at your height, they are an option over a 250 buzz bomb. You could probably pick up a reasonable one for your price. even if the same age as a 250, less likely to have been owned by a plethora of 'enthusiastic' riders who thrash them mercilessly, will all say they are unbreakable.... till they do, and with major catastrophic failure.

    XT600-660 Yamaha
    DR650/freewind 650 suzuki
GS650 bmw etc all good learner options now.
