Some great sweeping corners for sure. We do that loop every now and then. If you get into the area where Raincliff is, the roads are great. A bit more rough and ready and you have to watch out for tractors but awesome riding none the less. One of my favorite rides (once I get an hour out of Ashburton) is Geraldine - Fairlie - Pleasent Point and back to Geralding via the Seven Sisters Road. (Not every day you get to do Seven Sisters!)![]()
Have you been spying on my comings and goings? That's a bit creepy.
That's almost 800 years ago, no wonder Doc called ya "braindead"!
Anyway, Ghostie, myself (plus the best half) and maybe Mr Triple will be at the Darfield Bakery at 8:30 am Friday for a breakfast pie then a ride down the middle to Ettrick. Others are free to tag along if they wish.
may... or may not do a day trip on saturday...
C ya there! Road tested X75 today, all good to go.
Will ride to Alexandra Thursday for the short trip to Ettrick Friday. Saturday / Sunday weather looking magic!
I have looked at the rabbit's entrails, sacrificed the virgin and called on the gods to ask for co-operation in the weather. The result is a band of rain moving through mid week and clearing from Canterbury early Friday morning and fine weather for the Ettrick area all from Friday evening until Monday.
Time to ride
Awesome news on the weather front then. Like it.
