if its a nokia, then its windows, right? (either that or meego) So why not get cranky at microsoft?
Besides, most "smart phones" now make themselves a wireless access point which you then connect to with the wireless connectivity of the other device (ie, you connect your tablet/laptop via your phones wireless hotspot). This I believe is available on both win7 and 8 phones, also standard on android phones and I believe on IOS (i-devices although, since i wont waste money on apple products I do not know for sure)
