Geeeze Jim, you aren't related to Akzle are you? Either that or you ingested/smoked some really bad 'shit'. No I wasnt joking, simply pointing out that as our dear 'friend'? akzle states, you have 10 seconds to make an impression.... and the Police I knew all agreed that 95% of road users they stopped would 'decide' the second they opened their pie holes, whether a ticket, warning, or a ticket blitz was warranted.
Yes any job has arseholes in it... but I would imagine if you spent every working day dealing with wankers, loudmouths, anti social tossers, your tolerance level would get pretty low as well.

And in many cases, deservedly so! We run a camera in the car now - to many gung ho wanker cops over here.
I've also been pulled by a cop in NZ, for no reason other than being on the road late at night (had to go and pick up my sister in law from work - matron at a rest home) He was quite pushy, and when my wife asked if anything was wrong he told her to shut up or he'd book her for obstruction! WTF! It was only when the sister in law in full uniform leaned over in the back seat and told him she would like to get home sometime soon, thank you, that he threw my licence back in the car and stormed off. It was not a pleasant experience.
Notice you all jump down the young guys throat - lots of holier than thou statements being made!
Must all know him personally, eh?

Interesting that even a "positive" report of interaction with a policeman involved a level of fiction with regard to the actual speed recorded on the ticket !

If you mean that I showed I don't have universal trust of police you are absolutely correct.

And I'm in good company. A dozen others in the thread feel the same way.

Thats a pretty telling outcome for a thread with only four pages.

Yes - I too have a healthy mistrust of the police - developed as a result of my previosu experiences with the popo ...

I can't believe how many posters in this thread are on the side of the police and not the young person ... I've been accused by a cop of flipping him the bird when I did not ... and I know a couple of other people who have had the same experience ...

Look, I don't blagg all cops - some are good, some are bad ... I just don't have the unswerving faith in all our police that some people here seem to ... I'll reserve judgement on individual cops until they show me whether they are good or bad ...

Telling out come my arse,,what they really mean is that they don't like to admit when their wrong so blame the cop for reflecting their own shitty attitudes straight back at them.

Just like your finding a "level of fiction" in some cop not being the hard arse he could of been.

It must be a hard job if people hate you for being a hard liner,,but also put shit on you if you cut them a break.

So some of them treat people like their just two faced cunts that deserve everything they get,,,well I wonder why that would be huh ?

    Only one dozen?

There's probably a hundred dozen that think differently - and unlike the nay-sayers they can't be naffed saying so...

For gosh sakes --AT NO POINT IN TIME has there been any proof whatsoever that the person on the tape was in fact a police officer.
IMO the 16 year old has fabricated the entire conversation.
What will be amusing is if it turns out that no cop cars were in that area when this soposedly happened. OR if he was pulled over for a ticket and camera footage from cctv /the cop car shows the real story.
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
