well actually thats 2 years in a row now chick, what are we gonna do about you huh?
at least you had a decent excuse both times, but it was a little sad not having you and quite a few others there this year.
We had to put up with the likes of Q trying to con people out of their hard earned cash in the pub, not to mention having a school teacher giggling worse than his kids half the night
there was some scary shit going down I tell ya!

That teacher was a terrible influence, I don't know if them Ettric folk ready got the"winning" money from the money machine. Worth a go though.

Great weekend, down on numbers from previous years but good company all the same.
Not so great weather on Friday so took the car to the rally (20 kms) along with the food etc.
Had a great feed and laugh at the Ettrick Hotel.... fortunately we knew in advance that the fire brigade were having their break up at the same time and got there just before them. Mista was almost last to get his meal
Went home Sat morning and picked up the bikes ready for the to Lawrence down to Tuapeka Ferry and across the Clutha on the punt.
Learnt that when parking the bike on a slight downhill I should leave it in gear
Back to Beaumont for lunch and then on to Ettrick for the rest of the night.
Pig on a spit for dinner and a bed time story read by Scummy to finish off the evening (never did hear how it ended!)
Great to catch up and meet new faces too

very true, a big lacking of the estrogene types this year, might have even been part the reason all were to well behaived.

It never fails to amaze me the roads that far south, like the Catlins rally day ride this one was awesome, that road to the punt wow fark it looked magic you lot ahead on the ridge line, the meaning of riding it was.

That it was aye, I think someone was missing there CB, as for me I was too fuking (thats right SD fooking) tied and stressed, next year I might make up for it.

Anyways, photo's to come soon, just to prove it did really happen...
    cheers DD

I was glad to see a leading light in NZ's educational system offering restraint, moral guidance and intellect to KB,s rabble. Its about time standards were raised. I have no idea what photos D may have, but let us not forget the powers of photoshop, given the time taken to upload them.
