Just another tool to get the info out and about.. that's all

It's easy to work with and you can get quick feedback.. as they say, just stay away from the dumb ads and games.

And you can use it to 'like' Telecom... abuse them for being crap, then 'unlike' them.

Hahaha this is great. Quite a misconception that Facebook is the only one doing this. In fact google is much worse.

Pretty much all web browsers will take personal information, like facebook does. Ever notice how google ads on web pages always seem to be relevant in some way?
Some companies ban the use of google chrome(that's a web browser for you internet explorer users(a web browser allows you to look at the internet for those of you who are so past it you probably shouldn't be let near a computer)) by employees because the amount of information going back to google takes up too much bandwidth.

Pretty much if you are on the internet, someone is probably taking some information from you, usually not for malicious intent, but you can't really escape it. It is pretty unlikely that someone is going to zero in on your information (unless someone has a keen interest in you and a lot of money), you just become part of a bunch of statistics.

Facebook can be a fairly useful tool for things like this.

Yes of course. But on the other hand farcebook is an excellent repository of information. How many people do you think have their password as Mrfluffypaws1. Probably a lot use kids names or pets & then fill their account with pictures "Here is Mrfluffypaws taking a nap".

Either way I still reckon its for gurlz.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

Think of your favourite sports stars in any sport. They all have facebook. Time to stop being old and 'macho' and get an account.

I don't like sports & I don't care much for celebrities. Being famous doesn't make people smart & thus why would we listen to their opinions?

    Baaaa!

Anyhoo I think we've probably dragged this thread far enough origin.

So on a tangent, why are Moto5 riders excluded?

I have now seen lots of good photos and videos of the Tokoroa round as well as stories that I wouldn't have seen or read if it wasn't for Facebook.
