ok here goes.I am 99.9 percent sure i am in the right place,if not in exactly the same spot.The thing that makes me 99.9 percent sure is the caravan on the upper right hand side -41.383126,175.106124
Its just before the road swings away from Lake Ferry/Lake Onoke and goes up over a small saddle before dropping down to Ocean Beach.its not really sign posted -41.373922,175.103

was a mission,was hot on the Wellington side and cooler going over the Takas,was quite nice going down the Western side,came out sunny when i got down to the spit.HOT on the way home some strange atmospherice conditions some fog was has formed ober the harbour

About 240ks.the fella at the gas station couldnt eleive i put 32.55 litres in for a total of 68.00.I have used less than half a tank
I only took 61 pictures

yep love it out there .Its only by really studying your pic that i realise i am almost exactly in the same spot but the tide is rather higher in your pic.I was gona cross the stream but the bottom was quite soft.If i had gotten stuck i woulda been in trouble!

nice. those stock yards caught my eye too. being a farm kid, I like to get out and about in areas that remind me of home.
