yup, I have just a sisi bar on my little 250 cruiser, its perfect for mounting gear, as per pic.
bungees hold the tent and bag containing bedding on to the front of the sisi bar,, pack pack has change clothes wet weather gear etc, I use the shoulder straps around the bag and tent to hold it on. This setup has done 5 rally's, without a thing coming loose.
Bonus being you have a nice comfy back rest to lean against on those long journeys.
Makes it more comfortable and safer than my XS1100 which has just a plain flat seat , just a heap lots slower on the open road.
