Apparently the speedo cable was a little loose on the engine block and thats where it was losing oil. Even though it was a system they were unlikely to have touched during the service, they fixed it without charging. So I am rather pleased!

Don't count on me for tomorrow. I got caught out in the big 'shower' (read heavy rain) at lunchtime, so all my good gear got a bit soaked. If my boots and gloves dry out in time I can make it, but I don't want to try to do that run with winter gloves on! (or plain work boots. Ok for around town, but I'd rather proper boots at 100kms).

By the primary school. - Pukete Road, Moreland Ave, Ashurst Ave, Minnie Place. I remeber looking at a house there some time back house hunting. Way out of my range, but still poked my nose in!

Roads were still a little damp this morning so decided to pop over to Raggers instead.

Over there by 10am, best time to ride imho, little traffic and nice and cool.

Cut off your arm and leg as payment they may just do a small job for you, and take twice as long doing it as what they told you
Exactly the sort of comment I would expect from someone who rides a Suziki. Personally I am happy with the service and pricing

No ride planned for this weekend as a number of people are away for the new year. Maybe the following week a wee tiki tour somewhere.

To all those who have ridden with LOR in 2012 I wish you a merry Christmas and hope you all have a great and safe 2013.

See you on the roads (or at the clubrooms) next year

If there is a ride on the 6th or 13th of January I'll be keen, possibly on the 20th as well.

Also, my awesome boss gave me a fuel card for Xmas so I have fuel to burn!

Was thinking of going up highway 22 from Hams to Port Waikato for a dip in the sea if the weather is okay. Good to avoid the main highways over the Xmas break. Highway Patrol is pretty ruthless at the mo!
