Spent a couple of months on a 30 tonner with a similar head to that one a few years ago, doing railways and catchement board stuff. Forever fixing the bastard, I was glad to get back on the dozer.

I really like pushing in tracks in steep country with the dozer, or hauling logs. But I am over pulling in pipe for dairy farmers, fuck it is getting really boring. May have to bring my TD9 back from the coast and get back into a bit of hill clearing.

Steep hill works my favorite too, i don't know what it is its just interesting and fun.

and the internationals were good in there days, and still are to some degree.

Diff has gone once, transmission twice. Last time was on this hill in behind roxburgh. Joystick are a good machine when running right, but a pain in the arse when things go wrong.

Ha, yup. I may only be aspiring to manliness but I don't buy into "she'll be right" & "chicks dig scars". I don't do nuthin risky until I learn the correct way to do it.
