Now , this is the new engine and it is built for India where gasoline is expensive in a manner of words so less than 30 haaahaa
my "racing Enfield tops out about 22 to 25 ish , but has lots of torque ,( cant remember how much ) up there though
If I was younger , and in my Ducati stage , i would have bought this bike
settled on a ducati single though ...fully worked ( the engine cost the same as a 750 bonnie ....)
No , im going to build this chop , and honest to god this is the LAST bike I build buy , beg steal or borrow
    Honest guv

Like the bike but it does look Indian (i.e. cheap and cobbled together), and please tell me the Ohlins shocks are a joke.

So tell us how it looks cheap and cobbled togeather,,,,you ever actually seen one ?

Ohlins shocks,,,,,yeah about time a manufacturer put decent suspension on a bike as stock.

About the only thing funny about it are the suckers like you that remain loyal to the Jap big four that have been treating you like fools for so long you now think it's normal.

Listen here fuckwit, it looks parts bin in regards to the lack of fine detailing even compared to say a GB500, as for Ohlins shocks on a cheap Indian made bike with 27 horsepower it'll drive the purchase price up massively and it doesn't even need them. I have no particular loyalty to any brand and I am amazed you somehow were able to infer some sort of perverse love for the Japanese from a couple of offhand comments. I buy my vehicles purely based on price and value for said price, NOT manufacturer or region which is why I have had amongst others a $1600 FZR1000, a $1500 GB400, a $500 Volvo and RG150, a $1000 Subaru and an X7 that came as a bunch of rusty bits in boxes, which for some reason you felt the need to red rep me for.

    Idiot.

Duh - that's what a cafe racer is. The working class kids in England who couldn't possibly afford a Manx or a Goldstar, stripped their mundane go to work bike down, and using bits from here and there cobbled together something that looked like a racer they could ride on the street. So what if it was only a Bullet or B31, it was still better than what they started with.

This is a factory cafe racer, so doesn't impress me much - but it is made from a much more mundane source....bits taken off, bits from here put on there. In that light it makes the grade for me.

GB500 - just Honda plagiarising another trend....there's money in it y'know. Enfield is offering a factory version of what customers have been doing to their bikes for 50 years.

I thought the GB models were a bit of a flop when new, like the NT650/BROS/Hawk GT?

It's kind of like a Thruxton then, or Yamaha SRV250? Factory Cafe style bikes rule.

Velocette Thruxton - now that was a seriously good factory cafe racer.
