Those shocks, IF they are after market and ohlins the I doubt they are on the production version
If they are , then they are the yamaha ? "In name only" units , as found on map Xjr, and such twin shock bikes

After massive investment by the eicher? Group , retooling Enfield's have become quite good. The materials were sometimes ....... But they have improved massively of late

Its a nice engine that one

I have no particular loyalty to any brand and I am amazed you somehow were able to infer some sort of perverse love for the Japanese from a couple of offhand comments. I buy my vehicles purely based on price and value for said price, NOT manufacturer or region which is why I have had amongst others a $1600 FZR1000, a $1500 GB400, a $500 Volvo and RG150, a $1000 Subaru and an X7 that came as a bunch of rusty bits in boxes, which for some reason you felt the need to red rep me for.

    Idiot.
If you read the specs I posted it looks like it will be a 535 motor and about 35bhp.... thats as much as most of the old 'high power' Brit 500 sinlgle's produced. For the money and looks? It's a VIABLE option for those who always hankered for a Goldie, and it's just as pretty...

Ya been sniffing too much Bel Ray from your exhaust mate.

Wow, a massive 35hp. Still doesn't warrant Ohlins on a cheap production bike that makes ten less horsepower than my ancient 250. Does anyone have a valid point to make to me here or is it just a CanAm and a Harley rider being butthurt?

Go buy a real bike, instead of a wee stroker.......

Or go and buy a REAL stroker..... H1/H2.......

or better still, grow up? and stop being a knob for the sake of it, and have something constructive to add?
only 35bhp is adequate, it has/will produce enough torque to perform in a reasonable fashion. You either 'dig it' or you dont... you like screaming engines and 'power bands' others prefer low revving 'high torque' motors....

At 35hp that's only 1 or 2 shy of what my DR650 produced as stock. With a bit of tuning the DR will now lift the front in 1st off the throttle. It is enough to have fun on twisty roads and the torque gives real world grin factor, not penis racing 'I've got a pooftenth more power than you'.

I bet it goes up hills well... and I also bet it loves low revs, which is good. Hopefully my silly little bike will be like that (but with 10hp more and 135kg wet)
