    Along the lines of a CBR250RR, ZXR250, GT250r

Not to be a kill joy, but 92 onwards ZXR and CBRs were restricted to 40hp.

    Hey mate,

Thanks for the reply. Not really concerned with the small decrease in HP just more for the reliability ive heard so much of. but cheers for the info wasnt aware of the decrease.

Buy on condition, not year. You may find a nice 91-92 unrestricted bike for the same coin as a later model heap.
Reliability with the CBR is no issue if you choose carefully. The HP increase is noticeable too

Easy way to tell a restricted CBR is 18k redline, unrestricted ones are 19k.

    Good luck

Get a hornet! Your wrists will thank you for it and the 16k rev limit is still more than enough to put a shit eating grin on your face...Should I also mention the majority of people assume its a 600 or 900 until I tell them otherwise.

I bought my hornet seen but not test ridden...Mightive been pure luck but it has suited me very well. Long distance or short quick commutes. Clocked up 4k in the first month and a half, quite a few of them 5-6 hour rides and I've felt its more than capable of whatever I dare throw at it as a learner. Am happy with it and hopefully will keep it slowly upgrading bits and bobs.

I have a 95 Bandit 250 VVT, that I would consider letting go for $1500.00. Rough paintwork, but starts well everytime. Goes ok. Less than 40,000 kms. Good Pirelli Tyres.

Pm me if you are interested.
