Customer service? Would you be happy?

I decided to purchase a flat pack rabbit hutch off tardme cos I couldn't be arsed to make one, and the local shops wanted silly amounts for the same/similar products. I ordered and paid for the new item last Thursday (when they were open for business) but it wasn't despatched till yesterday. It arrived today and was shonky in the extreme: wood very soft and panels split where they had been screwed together. I took photos and emailed the seller...I received a full refund within 10 minutes.

So how would you feel? Imagine that this was a bike part you'd bought from China rather than a rodent receptacle.

    Sorting out the refund A++++.
Sending out shonky goods 3 working days after you've paid for them A minus in the extreme. I now have to buy or make a cavy cage and run as my baby cavies need to be out mowing my lawn and the pregnant cavy needs more space.

Lucky for me the bike is in for a suspension upgrade whilst I recover from cosmetic surgery so nowt much better to do.

We noticed - you have nothing better to do than sit on KB and moan about sod all ...

Rabbit stew is a good option.

Hairy Moob augmentation? Now that would be some god awful pics.

Just had an email to say I can keep the wooden junk....should I repackage it and put it on tardme with pics of damage? There will allways be someone that thinks it's a bargain.

less than 3 days to dispatch, maybe even less than 2. Full refund given... jeez and you create a thread about this?

As for the hutch thing, use it as firewood for the stew.

Sounds like their customer service is excellent.

The product might be total shit but that's a different matter.

I agree, that's why I gave them a good rep on tardme, and specific feedback comment.

BUT.....they must know the quality of the kits going out from them though, so I must be more picky than some. Even without splits on most of the panels (cos the wood is so soft) the plywood for the back is 3mm thin, and screw ends are poking out in a few places.

I've now looked at the bars on the enclosure and they would only keep an adult cavy (guinea pig) inside, and allow a cat to get it's paw in and try playing pat-a-cake with those inside. I am really annoyed about the product and the wait (to find it's useless) as I had baby cavies and a pregnant female to house out of their temporary accomodation (2 indoor cages, and being put onto the lawn during the day inside an enclosure made from a fireguard)...Is anyone really still reading this drivel?

Yeah right....I;m sure you were "TOLD"...more like "you're hallucinating again...this always happens after you've had anal bleaching. Have you considered sorting your bike suspension so you don't crap yourself when you hit a bump mid corner?".

Not gerbils; cavies. They wriggle just as much but are less likely to bite
I was going to get some hamsters to help with my cultivation of tulips, but I don't have any good jam recipes. So no 'tulips from hamster jam'

I'd not be happy my time was wasted and I was inconvenienced, no. But I'd be very happy with the seller for a no hassle refund. Don't sweat it though, put it down to a learning experience I say. Anyway are you really asking about customer service or product quality? it's an animal cage, not a bike part so your comparison is kind of irrelevant, I don't really understand...

I wouldn't. Doesn't seem right, morally, to me. Give it away for free, you have your refund so you're no worse off.
