    32.6 degrees and rising

Bugger me tis hot down here, might not be that hot to you lot up North but bloody hell, theres no where to cool down bar the shower.Spent the afternoon at the river then the balcony at the Maheno tavern looked inviting so tried that for a few pints, was showing 31 degrees out there then arrived home to find 32.6 with a nwester coming up so methinks it wont cool down for awhile. No idea how the Stralians handle there temps,Poor old hairy hound was fine at the river but currently lying in a cool place outside.Called in at the takeaway on the way back from the pub and the bloke reckons its pissing down up the lakes which is only up the road a tad, poor old campers cant take a trick ehMugs game i reckon. What about you lot down south further, you guys cooking?

32 is getting up there alright. I remember the mid 30's regularly as a boy in Ashburton...I was raised my early years inland Queensand where 42 was normal...the sun here, when you're directly exposed makes you feel much hotter despite the 10 degree difference!

Here in the BOP 26-30 is more average thanks to a lovely sea breeze.
Mind them broken bottles n ciggies tossed to the dry roadside grasses aye

Swimming pools become redundant unless rather large as they warm up and become luk warm baths

Talking to a guy whos rather fat n just came back from Aus and said those hot days he stayed inside near the A/C with plenty of water...it had him beaten!

36 degrees here today, Spent an hour in the pool.

But Ive spent time in the pool nearly every day for the last 5 months.

Air conditioning is cranking, and I am the proud owner of a fine chilled ale, with a few more chilling in the freezer.
