    ZX10 - 2004 Radiator wanted urgently.

    WEll, as the title says,does anyone have a good cindition radiator for zx10, 2004? Mine bust its guts today as i was loading it on me trailer for ART at HD on sunday. so needless to say, it came back off and now I cam came to auck anyway as i had a motel boked. So if anyone has one between Auck and Whakatane can you txt me on 0211 582 042. If the 'price is right' I can pick up on my way home tomorrow.

    Would you know if a zx14 2007 are the same as I have a brand new spare one.

    hmmmm, kneed it. i may give that a go. it has already been welded once and it has bust in the same place.

    sorry , i dont know. i doubt it but someone more enlightened may be able to clarify for me. i can get one shipped from the statesbut its about 400 bucks with shipping

    I very much doubt it. My old ZX12 rad was way bigger than the 10 one. I can't see a 14 one being smaller....

    Quality, well applied epoxies are actually quite good in a lot of cases. Not heating shit up has advantages.
    Kneed-it is the cheapo version, there is plenty more out there but I used some in a pinch on a sidecar years ago and a month or two ago I saw the same sidecar, with different owners in a different town; kneed-it still intact!

    fixing a rad with epoxy is somthing ive never done. once the surface is preparred, which i pressume woud have to be well cleaned etc... is it a case of covering the affected area with the resin?

    Pretty much. Kneed-it is OK, Devcon or other flash ones are better.

    Just use common sense on placement, overlap etc. Keying the surface well is really important.
