    Huifeng batteries

I need a regular battery change for the headset of the TPX. It takes some discy thing that I usually buy online.

This time I went for cheapest......and got a brand I hadn't heard of - Huifeng. So I looked them up.

Man, they must be good batteries - just look what I read about them!

"...so small it is and it is very convenient for to carry with anywhere, even put it on your pocket.
Of course, it is a must-have back-up battery for you to take with anytime because you don’t know ever when your device which need the battery get dead and reduce some unnecessary trouble for you. And the Lithium button cell battery can let you use for long time. Plus, the price is very reasonable."

I have a Chinese friend who used to work for a Taiwanese housing company. She used to bring me correspondence from them to suppliers for me to "translate" from Chinglish into Kiwi...I often pissed myself at the convoluted form they used. On one occasion, I fixed a letter to the plumbing company who had misinstalled the "supertubs" in the laundries. There was all this involved stuff designed to "maintain face" in the eyes of the plumbers. Eventually I had to say "Look, you're dealing with Kiwi plumbers here, not Rhodes scholars. All you need to say is, 'You fucked up. You fix! Or we no pay!'"

    Got the message across eventually.

It's a great source of entertainment eh?

I use www.c2345.com for bike bits and electronics crap, and some of the stuff that appears is pants wetting.

Now I know why they were so cheap...

First battery lasted three days in the headset. As opposed to the usual 4 - 6 weeks from the Maxell's.

    False economy Bro, false economy.
