    So a plan is forming then, to meet at the peg saturday morning and lunch stop in reefton?

    peg at 8, leave by 8:30 via lewis, Refton, (most likely) westport, Grey, Hokie, beer oclock

    big ride but an awesom ride, weathers looking mint, up to about 8 bikes, nice number for the distance.

    Sounds like we have something that works, leaving the peg at 8.30 (so no sleeping in) heading to dawsons saloon for lunch at reefton, off to the rally from there in what looks so far to forecast as glorious weather for riding.

    See ya's all saturday morning.

    Just had leave confirmed for weekend , so we be doing lewis on sat , brunch in reefton. then easy run thru stillwater etc to the rally.
    See what day is like . we'll prob scoot off bit earlier , so we have plenty of time for enjoyable arvo at the rally......

    Know what ya mean bout time at the rally, but I like to ride just as much... there is now a couple of extra's from Rashika's swifts club (private girls only dikes n bikes gang) comming along one may not be so quicker rider.
    Let us know if you do bolt early so as we dont wait for ya.

    I will pack a peg, just trying to decide...wooden or plastic. Trying to get around to packing ready, just cant seem to peg myself a moment to do so.

    Will do . Fi seems to hum along now , so prob see ya at reefton. Mind you with folding camp chairs on board , might have to factor in another 5km off the top speed for wind drag.........

    yeah but hey, Alley cat left today and Rashika and myself will meet you guys in Ambely at 9;30 we will ride over the y mack gorge rangie lowburn (cant be naffed with town traffic) so dont wait for us at the peg.

    HOT just txted and will meet us at Puna ki key (those doing the west port leg)

    Such beautiful riding weather - Chrissy Bimbo and I are eating our hearts out at missing this rally - even if it's flooded with you Canterbury Rabble/Rubble!


    (Ah well, it's my first niece to get married - and I have to be M.C....)

    lol we all have camp chairs on board. Promise no bright pink pillow this time tho ! See you guys in reefton if not before. Wahoo not long now !

    $40 for entry non prepay, which is all of us now. Byo tent, they have food and booze and lots entertainment there.

    L plates go when you make a few posts.

    We will be at rangi about 8.30 ish and amberley closer to 9 am, doesnt take that long from the peg to there dangerous!
