    Learn summat every day, doncha

Happened to get in behind a bike t'other night wearing the "L" plate. Followed him/her up to the compulsory stop.

Now here's what I didn't know. L plate riders are exempt from the stop sign. This rider just sailed on through. Guess the less you have to worry about when learning the better, eh?

Wish I was on an L plate - must save heapsa time without all those goddam stops.

Come to think of it, most cars in this burg are exempt too.

    Don't get me started...
It's obviously just a suggestion or the word is too big for most motorists to understand, mostly colour blind too.

Couldn't tell - was too far ahead of me. Little bike judging by the skinny rear tyre.

    Maybe.

Given that hardly anyone bothers to stop for stop signs any more, maybe we should just convert them all to Give Way.

But then the ones that do stop for stop signs now wouldn't stop as well.

T'is a junction fraught with danger. It's simple enough, stop, look, get on yer way. What rips my nightie is the arse ramage. I've had a few close calls but just gentle touching, no penetration. A mate who lives on his bike has had his rear end rearranged 4 times. He stops on the pavement now.
Stop junctions are rife for gratuitous revenue collection. Go for it!

Give em' a break "they probably just started riding after having spent some time driving a car.
And old habits take time to change.

Or,,,they did see the sign and did intend to stop, but couldn't remember which one of those bloody levers an peddles an things did the stopping bit in time to actually get the stopping bit done in time,,,so thought,,,ah fuck it.

Or,,they was on holiday from Auckland.

Or,,that's just how we roll in the Tron bro.
