Mrs. Bear would love a WRX. I saw a lovely blue one in Wingers when I had the Kizashi in for its last service. A horsepower bargain! She doesn't mind gratuitous horsepower in anything...

There are only two I would own and like a shot! The standard WRX and the BRZ. Nothing else in the brand appeals to me.

I love the look of the BRZ, the front bumper is tasty. Saw a black FT/GT today with a huge wing, ewww.
The Blade Master is an interesting idea.
I've always wondered if it'd torque steer off every corner, straight line, wet road, driveway...

The Blade Master has the 3.5lt V6 in it. Not sure what the HP is but you could note that the chassis and front wheel drive is stretched to the limits...

Heh! I had to edit my post after googling blade master.
We have a runx z manual and my wife hates me driving it cos I let all 180hp out to play!
Fuck it is a cool car to drive tho.

But to stay on topic I could mention that I have not driven or been in an MX5

You must do so! A day like today with the top down! Redline it in second and third, (on a private road, officer...), and take it around some twisty road...

My favourite personal cars have been my euros. Owned an HSE Rangie, merc C260 and currently driving a 3 series coupe. All have been fantastic. Well apart from the air suspension in the range pig, but got that sorted under warranty.

    I'd agree with that.

Got a first generation Poobaru Legacy GT. Brilliant bang for buck, mine owes me $1300 although I did build it out of two separate cars. Not as unreliable as everyone says, parts are very cheap and a lot of stuff from later WRXs bolts straight up - alloy A arms, 4 pot brembos, struts, drivelines, transmissions, engines, seats.

They are good value, if you get a decent one. There's a significant lack of decent ones though, the majority are fucked I've fixed a shedload, but, there's been a few really good ones in the mix.

The 2GR in the blade will make 300whp with a set of headers/slight tweaks. They are a monster of a motor. I'll put one in my mr2 one day.

Shit, no ones mentioned Fiat yet. Had a nice 131. Wrote it off out the back of puhoi. And had the misfortune to own a couple of 127,s, absolute junk.
