If anyone is interested I might be persuaded to ride on the odd Friday night after work. I need some challenging roads to regain some of my riding skills.

Does anyone know if the fish and chip shop in Akaroa has reopened yet????

    Anyway next WNR Greta Valley??
I would definitely be up for a Friday night ride! Hell yes! Just message me the day before and I will be there! (Unless I'm working the Saturday morning)

Yes Spuds has it right, along with suitable gear for riding.

    WNR Greta Valley.

BK, Moorhouse, Fitzgerald, Hills, Marshland. First regroup off the top end of Marshland just before the motorway onramp. Folk from the north of town may like to join up here. Up the Motorway through Woodend (Rangiora etc folk may want to join up here.) Second regroup at the truckstop opposite Z Amberley. Turn off at Waipara and through the Weka Pass to Waikari, third regroup at the turnoff to Scargill Valley. Through Scargill Valley to the Greta Pub. Some 190k return to Christchurch.

    See you all on Wednesday!!!!!!!!!!
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!

These are great on those hot summer nights. They keep your feet nice and cool.

Have a great ride folks, turns out due to the weather we're heading back Thursday now. Will probably enjoy the west coast more in the dry!

Situation normal for this area ... 9 months of the year. EVERY year.

Walter (and co) is heading for the Haast as I type. Fresh snow on the hills ... sun but bugger all warmth.

    Both arrived safe in Fox.

    Don't worry I don't ride fast :-)

190kms. Should be a decent ride.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

A good ride tonight. Thanks to all who who came along.

If anyone wants to go for a quick ride around the hills on Friday I will be at BK just after 6.00pm.
