Just crap on the side of the road like all the other tourists. Good point though, never noticed the toilet, maybe you just crap in the shower and force it down the plughole with your toes.

Most campers the toilet is inside the shower

Yep, heading out to forks hut and beyond, was part of my area when I was with DOC. We spent a few weeks out there spraying rosehip. Some great 4 wheel driving and bike riding out there.

Dont think it would of been me, I was pretty cruisey, unless some dick was hacking up one of the hut with an axe or shit like that, then I would of let you know how I was feeling.

Lol i think i suprised the guy was why he was grumpy.
I road up a shale slope omto the track right behind him and think i gave him the shits the way he jumped.
Never made it to falks hut as the river was in flood and i saw a log floating down as i was looking at the crossing put me off a bit.

Rode up to the hut on the same side of the river as i was riding and had a cuppa was all good but there was alot of tracks being cut off road up there willy nilly.

Used to go up to the hut above takaro lodge hunting when i was working on a land corp place in there was good hunting and a great piss drinking hut with a brilliant fire.

Boundry hut is the one on this side of the river. And I think the other one could be the slopedown hut. Great area, but a lot of idiots have started going in there now over summer, so I stay away. The Eyer mountains is where I hang out most of the time now, not many people know their way around in there. And I like it like that.

    Yer i could imagine it.

Dont know what the hut was callad but up the whitestone i think the river was but could be wrong ( memory fade).

that hut was a bitch to get at if you wernt in the know as the only ways in were permission from takaro lodge which was non exsistant ( i could cos i worked on the farm on there boundry) or startin out from the road into fiords and drive right up the river which was a bitch i imagine so probably still resonably quiet in there.
Must go find out noe day.

One of the great things about working for DOC, at least in my role anyway, was the access to heaps of great places, usually by chopper.

Hush! The pair of you. My dream holiday is to have some supplies & camping gear dumped by chopper somewhere up a river down there & ride in with the G/F & a mate or two on trail bikes. Spend a week or two hunting, fishing & maybe gold panning, spending my evenings by the campfire with a few coldies carbonising my days catch & just being human.
    Bliss..
