    Interesting comparo.. http://blogs.motorcyclistonline.com/...#axzz2KXlo5bda

Shorai are unique in using their own development of LiFePO4 technology. The cells are unique to Shorai, all the others use the A123 cell which does have limitations on durability in deep discharge starting applications. Shorai are also designed to be a drop-in replacement for your standard battery and are quite happy to be recharged with any charger except the desulphering one's. It is recommended that from time to time, pop them on a Shorai charger to fully re-balance them and return them to top condition.

Cost is lower with Shorai, too, unless you're being offered a very sweet deal from Super B.

Andrew Stroud and Craig Shirriffs have been using Shorai batteries since last season, as has Marcus Beagely, Sarah Elliot, Johnny Small and Merv's riders in his Kiwistars team. Karel Pavich is using one along with several others, so if you want to know how they perform under race conditions, just ask any of them.

I wont get to ride it until the 1st round, but it is an old one of mine with a very SPECIAL sentiment attached to it

Big thanks to Kevin and Peter and crew for helping getting me back out there again
Id like to hear Kevin & Peter's story about this (whoever they are).
I also understand a major wholesaler was approached to supply riding gear etc for this attempt at nothing, but my connections to people within that company ensured that they were prevented any losses.

This thread is about someone that defrauds people using motorcycle racing as a vehicle, not batteries.

Pretty simple - when I heard Shaun was looking for a bike to race I offered him my 675 to ride in the Tri-Series ( Shaun was instrumental in me getting it in the first place )

I wasn't planning on doing the Tri-Series myself and what the point of a race bike sitting in the shed ? The chances of it blowing up would be about the same with him or me riding it - the chances of it crashing a lot LESS with him riding it - Didn't cost me anything - and probably saved me some dough 'cause I checked the warrant and rego on the van !

I wasn't going to buy into this thread at all but I know Bob and he asked a straightforward question (for which had a straightforward answer)

Shaun has been in the bike racing game for a long time so finding a few people who have him on their "get fucked" list wouldn't be to difficult.

I've only known Shaun for about 4 years but have had a bit of personal and business dealings with him - he has always been straight up.

That's the "facts" of Kevin's story.

    Here is the emotional bit.

Shaun Harris is a fucking legend - about 10 NZ titles and TWO IOMTT TITLES

Thousands of people have tried to win one of those fuckers and hundreds have died trying - It took Shaun about 10 years to win TWO and he NEARLY died trying for more.

IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE WITH HIM GO AND TALK TO HIM - DON'T SLAG HIM OFF ON THE FUCKING INTERWEBB

98% OF PEOPLE WHO POST IN THIS FORUM WOULD HAVE TO STAND ON THERE MOTHERS SHOULDERS JUST TO KISS HIS ARSE !!!

Any IOMTT winners out there need anything - just ask me and I'll see what I can do.

I've always found it fucking weird how certain people must think it makes them famous for kissing someone famous's arse. So what if he's won the IOMTT? I'm good friends with a winner too. But my mate doesn't lie and steal shit from others.

Presume you are talking about Bruce Anstey Crasher and he of course has won many titles there.
    Cheers
