No some cars like the AC Cobra (not a small engined replica) simply DO COMMAND respect in any arena, because they are as Ducatilover put it, neck snapping, ass splitting, anti social, 4 wheeled, loon machines.

Even bored out to 500cc, your RZ wont light up its rear wheel from a standing start in top gear

Nah, can't respect something like that... the only place the TDR wouldn't embarrass it is on a runway. How very exciting

I think you're underestimating how hard cars can be driven.

I know 3 people in wgtn who have had, have or are building ACs. Couldn't care how big the engine is except surely 'too heavy' factors into it.

    Anyway still not impressed.

Whooor would you look at that:

I saw a replica built by an aeronautics engineer in Nelson fitted with a TOYOTA V8!

A well kitted rally car would annihilate any bike over the Takas.

But this thread is pointless. Each to their own. There's some very cool cars out there.

As would a super kart, but I wasn't proposing a race series.

Pointless, yes I think it has become that way, except the occasional inspired post of the OP

Should have got one in blue, they look good in blue, but the latter ones are red, so I got red.

Sure, but that was a link to a 1540hp Camaro. It won't be going over the Takas quickly.

My response re Taka was to Imdying's comment, as it was quoted.

So you think there are no cars that aren't boring ?

You obviously haven't been in many good ones.

Not really. I see now what you were referring to, but seeing as your post was directly undert he Cobra one...without any quotes from the TDR one...you can see what I mean!
