    "God" Made a 'Factory Farmer'

Seriously funny satire on our dumb consumerism way of life.

    So god made Mexicans
Political correctness: a doctrine which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd from the clean end.

Nuffink... it just means he invented the light bulb before creating a more sustainable version of light.

The whole factory farming debate has me in stitches.
I really don't give a shit if the tasty chicken thighs I made last night belonged to a chook that was pampered like a house pet before it got shagged by an axe, or lived like a POW in Vietnam before it got et'.

I mean for fucks sake, I kill and then I consume, a predator through and through, why should I care if my food lived well or not? Why does food need a good quality of life if it's only purpose is to eat, shag and shit for a few months then get turned into dinner?

Give me a break, but thanks for bringing up the subject, I needed to vent that!

Predator? Bullshit. You're a user, and from the thoughts in your post an abuser.

From human comes the word humane. It's a concept associated with respect and human decency towards other living things. These aren't concepts you seem to understand, so I can only hope you find yourself on the receiving end of someone with a similar internal compass to your own.

Think it's just me? Think again, the courts, researchers, and most people would say you are one screwed up individual:

"commissioned by the Royal New Zealand SPCA and Women's Refuge New Zealand, reinforced overseas data which established beyond doubt the connection between cruelty to animals and towards humans, as well as the high incidence of animal abuse in the childhood histories of mass murderers and other violent criminals, the conference's spokesman, Bob Kerridge, said."

Welcome to the land of "Ignore".

I agree that we're users, and I'd look towards more humane food sources if the price-targeting stopped.

Call me whatever you want dude, you've just forgotten your evolutionary place in the food chain. I am rather happy with my internal compass and have an absofuckinglutely impeccable moral code. I don't see modern farming methods as 'cruelty to animals' as the animals in question are a food source and factory farming is the most efficient method of creating the food source.

You're right it doesn't, free range tastes way better, but it costs a lot more too. The more you pay the better it is, so pay the man and be satisfied. However not everyone is as lucky , some folk can only afford the factory farmed meat. Who am I to say that factory farming is wrong, if it allows a poor family to get some meat in them? If we ban factory farming, we effectively make meat unattainable for a large portion of society.
