I have been employed by Hampton Honda (RoadWorthy)

    Hello,

My name is David Campbell. Hampton motorcycles has hired me to update their website. I know a few things about motorcycles and enjoy learning more. I just came here to ask if you guys could give me feed back on improvements to the site? Coming from motorcycle enthusiasts like yourselves, I figure you could give some great insight on what makes a great motorcycle site.

Most product don't have pictures on them and some have the wrong picture but other than that is there any other improvements you would suggest?

    The site is http://www.hamptonmotorcycles.co.nz/

    Thank you for your time

I really like sites like sportbiketrackgear and revzilla where they do regular product review videos

At least they are doing something about it, and where better to ask than here? Most users of this forum are happy to shop online for stuff, I live just down the road from Hampton so I wasn't worried about there site.

I just did have a look at the site, and and it is a major upgrade from last time I looked, a year or so ago, my only suggestion would be to keep the mobile platforms in mind as you make any changes, as phones are as likely to be used to access the site as computers. I have found a few sites are very difficult to navigate unless you have a tablet sized phone, in saying that, I had no problems navigating the site on my phone as it is today.

(avoid drop down menus and very small buttons)

Product review vids a must IMO, as well as Mobile devise navigation both stated above.

I would also recommend that the product review videos of the Bike's are made inhouse and not just links to the MCN youtube channel. This does'nt have to be a costly excersize, as most stuff can be done with a good smart phone these days. It will give the vids a personal touch. - as a potential buyer I always check out stuff online first, then go down to the shop, an how cool would it be actually chatting to the Guy/Gal that did the review!
