and more importantly, Girl Guide biscuits are on sale.

They've elected a 76 year old so reckon its just a gap filler. Might be the only one that has been tarred with the kiddie fiddler brush.

And now, the final of the Pope Factor.

    Who Wins?

    You don't decide.

So Cardinal Bergoglio is the new Pope,
Or head of paedophilia, as it's known around the globe.

So, how much do you want to bet that The Falklands become some kind of 'Holy Land' in the next few months?

The new Pope's Argentinean - Pope Francis says he has been guided by the hand of god, seems to be a common theme in Argentina...

I walked in on my son watching a program glorifying a cross-dressing paedophile who has an imaginary friend. I smacked him in the face and told him never to watch it again...

....turns out it was the new pope being elected.

Takes bloody hours, involves a lot of white smoke and theatre, carried out by insanely dressed chaps half of which you suspect like boys, most of it's in a foreign language, frustrating voting system, crowds going wild waving European flags.

And yet, I still always watch the Eurovision Song Contest.

So once again, white smoke rises up the chimney!

The last time Pope Benedict XVI saw this, he was working at Auschwitz

A new Pope elected, lots of celebrating, lots of rejoicing, lots of choir boys with sore arses tomorrow.

HA, I am sure the English wont mind the Falklands becoming 'Holy Ground'.. We had plenty of 'Crusade's practice' in the 1200's
it's always amazed me that the One religion that claims to celibacy, has historically been the most perverse/sexually driven one,, just look at the History of debauchery and whoring that went on in the middle ages....

Gay marriage is a "machination of the Father of Lies." Adoption by gay people is discrimination against children. Words of wisdom from the new Pope who distanced himself from the liberation theology movement (the priests and nuns who actively opposed dictators and took risks for social justice). Cristina kirchner, President of Argentina, said the Catholic Church under his leadership in the country was reminiscent of "medieval times and the inquisition."

He'll fit right in! Catholics should be deeply ashamed of their institution and should find a better church to go to. IMO. Maybe even Eds?

The new pope has an old past - cooperation with the Generals during the Dirty War
"What one did not hear from any senior member of the Argentine hierarchy was any expression of regret for the church's collaboration and in these crimes. The extent of the church's complicity in the dark deeds was excellently set out by Horacio Verbitsky, one of Argentina's most notable journalists, in his book El Silencio (Silence). He recounts how the Argentine navy with the connivance of Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio, now the Jesuit archbishop of Buenos Aires, hid from a visiting delegation of the Inter-American Human Rights Commission the dictatorship's political prisoners. Bergoglio was hiding them in nothing less than his holiday home in an island called El Silencio in the River Plate. The most shaming thing for the church is that in such circumstances Bergoglio's name was allowed to go forward in the ballot to chose the successor of John Paul II. What scandal would not have ensued if the first pope ever to be elected from the continent of America had been revealed as an accessory to murder and false imprisonment"

    A new "leader" for 1.2 billion head-in-the-sand-ists

Another testament to abject absurdity and the irrational expenditure of resources on an epic scale.

How did all those flightless birds walk all the way from Mt Ararat back to NZ again??
