Looking at Met Service's three day rain forecast just now, it looks as though the middle of Sunday is about when it turns to custard...might get in an early morning ride still. Maybe.

    Freebie ticket

Still have this ticket for the racing this weekend. There's bound to be someone that doesn't want to pay anything to get through the gate

Sure, I COULD take a free ticket off your hands, but what's in it for me

I like metvuw.com It take a little grey matter, but give you a better idea of what to expect. It looks like the pink stuff is over the waikato most of sunday, so it will be a craps shoot all day.

Heh, that sounds like me. But maybe someone more deserving will put thier hand up. Plus with the rain on Sunday...

    Anyone headed up tomorrow?

Got a ride in this morning - whilst the dry is still around.

So good to get out on a fully fit bike again. Reminds me why I ride.

Cheers, but I might miss it this time. My saturday got busy, and sunday looks a little terrible.

Nice. I got out for 10 minutes today - beer run, but hey, it's out! Plus I went all the way across town for said beer, so even better

Went Whatawhata, Pirongi, Otorohanga, back via Ouruwhero Road, Pokuru Road to Te A and then home via Paterangi Rd.

Not much traffic, no LEO's, dry road, not too many new patches of seal. All made for an "interesting" ride...

I took the Bonnie out yesterday and got rear ended on Forrest Lake lights Not Happy about it. Now have to wait to see if the bike is repaired or written off
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....

Gutting mate, hope you weren't injured.

What did the driver have to say for themselves and I hope they have insurance.

"sorry didn't see you" seems to be the same crap.

Bloody shit that! Always wondered what it'd be like to get rear-ended on a bike. You gonna buy back if they worse happens?

We were both turning left onto Te rapa on the free turn. She was looking right and thought I was already gone. She had insurance so that part all sorted. They will pay out no matter what. Bike doesn't look to bad, bent rear fender and broken lights. but It was in gear and it lurched forward. i rode it back to Hamilton Motorcycle centre but it made funny noises. They will asses it next week and advise the insurance company. Will know next week. i am ok, didnt fall off

I personally never give a flying fuck in they dont have insurance, in fact I prefer it if they didnt, it means they personally get reamed thoroughly by my insurance company and may remember the lesson a little longer. (This of course on the proviso that the rider is comprehensively insured)

And 5150, hope it all turns out for the best

You dont give a flying fuck for registration either I have just done a 740k ride on my scooter ( see scooters ) and one chap there has a shed full of bikes and one rego. Reckons he doesn't ride each bike long enough to get caught.
