The trouble for me now is, I want to introduce Star Wars to my kids. So do I show the movies in order from prequels to original trilogy, or original trilogy first and then prequels?

Since the prequels are more eye candy than substance, I'm worried that my kids will find the original trilogy boring compred to the prequels. I don't want to ruin the original trilogy for them, as I feel they're still the best.

I'd just stick with the original trilogy and let them find the prequels in their own time. When I re-watch Star Wars I find it very difficult to erase Hayden Christensen from Darth Vadar. Just... doesn't... compute. But hey, George Lucas came up with the whole thing - so I guess he's the last word unfortunately. He'd know better than anyone who DV is? A mate of mine portered for him (George Lucas, not Darth Vadar) at a hotel in Perugia and said he was quite rude. No tip either.

Grandkids are great - you just give them back when it gets ugly.

And in answer to the question - in the order they were released. If they aren't nerds they will be well done by 5 anyway.
If they are, then it's time to buy them horsepower instead.

My daughters are 13 and 11 - Grandkids are and will be waaaaay in the future, until after they've finished uni... or else!
