    I'd be keen for this trip! Might have to go for the cheapest available accommodation though due to bike insurance / expensive service also this week / boots falling apart

    Second thoughts, we are off to Piahia today, the Queen Mary II is expected in the Bay of Islands today, not sure what time but lunch at Alfredos awaits.

    Start of the football season means my Sundays are all taken up until next summer.

    I also have football on the Sunday, but I am semi-considering riding up all or part of the way on the Saturday and then heading back to Auckland on the Saturday night. If you are comfortable with that sort of distance in a day then you'd be welcome to join me on the trip back.

    Auckland Triathlon that weekend, so I'm out.

    Round 5 of AMCC Club racing is that weekend as well, in case it clashes for anyone...

    Is anyone else committed to this ride, as in paid already?...looking to cancel...the weekends are closing in fast and I/We have things to get on with and theres not alot of interest in this ride.

    Lets just wait till November.
